A multi-purpose sports court, a children’s play area, spaces large enough to host multicultural events, and a parking lot with as many spaces as possible. The objectives for the renovation project of Somo’s public square are clear.

Our approach tackles the project from a romantic point of view, seeking to bring the memory of the Ría de Cubas to the square. We work with flows, topography, lighting, and paving to create a square that is stratified and serves as the town’s main community space.
